Saul Kaye takes the Jewish experience and blends it with the African one,

taking Jewish stories and putting them to African-based blues. He stirs in Biblical narratives in the gumbo of African American blues and serves it up as a cross cultural stew. In spirituals and the Delta blues, black musicians often looked to the Jewish Bible for inspiration. Jewish bluesman Saul Kaye is returning the favor.
